Young IDEA
CALL FOR ACTION
The first International on-line Art Exibition of young IDEA, Initiated by our partners from UFMG [Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais] and “Poeticas de Luz” in Belo Horizonte [Brazil]
2nd -10th February 2020 Lomé, Togo West Africa
Every person associates family with a space of secureness, development and life experiences in our constantly challenging globalized world. What do children and adults need to (further) develop together in this world, to be capable to act on their own, and be emotionally rich and physically healthy?
THE IDEA
We present a method that will enable art teachers, university students, elementary school teachers and artists to mobilize their communities to participate in a project that meets the subject and its stories, through the topic of family. The work is based on biographical research and will be developed with children from the images and narratives of their families through an artistic perspective (Visual Arts, Theater, Dance, Performance, Music).
We aim to find answers that can be exchanged with other individuals in the world and so share stories, experiences, needs, hopes and projects. The creation of an international network to share the stories / biographies / images of the families, based on experiences in art and education, and the methods of aesthetic education.
